It describes flight instruction and aircraft ferry services and answers common questions about flight training. That makes it marketing and general education. It is not flight instruction itself, it is not an authoritative source on federal aviation regulations, and it is not legal, medical, or financial advice.
Regulations change and prices change. Nothing here overrides the current Federal Aviation Regulations, the Airman Certification Standards, an aircraft flight manual, or the instructor sitting beside you. Verify current requirements with the FAA or a qualified aviation professional before making decisions about training, certification, or flight operations.
The chat widget is the single place on this site where you can opt in to text messages. The contact forms do not collect phone numbers. Give your number in the widget, or call or text directly, and you are asking to be contacted about flight instruction. Replies may come by call or text to answer your question, quote you, and schedule or move appointments. These are conversational messages tied to your inquiry.
Message frequency varies with the conversation. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to end messages, HELP for assistance. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Consent is never a condition of buying any service, and your number is never sold or rented. Details are in the privacy policy.
Rates on this site are current at publication and meant for planning. Instruction is billed at the rate agreed before training begins. Aircraft rental is arranged with a separate FBO or flying club, priced by them rather than by me, and subject to their terms and availability.
Bookings are held in good faith on both sides. If you need to move a lesson, say so as early as you can. Flight instruction is weather dependent and safety dependent, so a lesson may be shortened, moved, or cancelled when conditions, aircraft airworthiness, or judgment require it. A cancellation made for safety reasons is never treated as a fault.
Nobody can promise you a pilot certificate. Cost and hour figures on this site are typical ranges, not commitments. Your real time and cost depend on how often you fly, your prior experience, aircraft availability, weather, and your own progress. Certificates and ratings are issued by the FAA through a designated examiner, on their standards.
Read it, print it, share it. Do not copy its text or images onto another commercial site, scrape it in bulk, try to break or overload it, or use it to send anything unlawful. The text, images, logo, and character artwork belong to Settle Aviation.
Links to an FBO, a flying club, the FAA, or anyone else are a convenience. Those sites are outside my control, and their content, pricing, and handling of your information are their responsibility.
